MassLive: Westfield utility inks agreement for hydropower as winter supply crunch looms

Westfield Gas & Electric is entering into an agreement with FirstLight Power and Energy New England to purchase more than 7 gigawatt-hours of energy from two hydroelectric facilities in Connecticut.
