Hartford Courant: Have you ever seen a bald eagle in CT? Now is your chance.

The Shepaug Bald Eagle Observatory will be open for the season this Saturday, Dec. 23.

The observatory marked a record year last season with 32 eagles spotted on a single day, the most since 1985, according to a release from FirstLight. FirstLight owns the Shepaug Hydro Generating Station where the observatory is held.
